# Adjust Max Heartrate

This feature is provided for specific users and special cases. Changing settings without a proper understanding may cause most of the features provided by Riduck to not work correctly.

If you need to change your Max Heartrate, you can do so by going to the **Settings** > **Activity** menu.

## Automatic Configuration

\[Recommended Settings]&#x20;

Based on synchronized riding activity data, the maximum heart rate is detected and displayed.

## Manual Configuration

If there has been no activity in the last 12 weeks that reached your maximum heart rate, if the heart rate monitor is malfunctioning, or if you've experienced a significant decline in performance, you can manually adjust your maximum heart rate.

Change to "Manual" and set the separately measured maximum heart rate, and press the update button below.
