Update FTP

By default, Riduck estimates the rider's FTP based on riding activity data, which can be viewed on the Dashboard. However, accurate FTP estimation may be challenging in the following cases:
When only low-intensity training is maintained or when only low-intensity data is synced with Riduck.
When the riding style is primarily endurance or leisure-focused.
After a long break from training or riding due to injury or other reasons.
In such cases, Riduck recommends the following tests as alternative methods for estimating FTP:
Ramp test
All-Out Effort (Check peak power)
Although there are various methods for measuring FTP, Riduck does not recommend or support these alternative methods due to their complexity and the various factors involved.
The Ramp test involves gradually increasing power output until exhaustion, following a brief warm-up. This testing method requires a smart trainer that supports ERG mode. The Ramp test can be conducted through various platforms, but it is primarily performed using Zwift.
Please synchronize the test riding data through Zwift to Riduck via Strava following the instructions provided within Zwift.
If the synchronization between Zwift, Strava, and Riduck is already set up, there is no need for additional uploads or synchronization.
If the test results are accurately reflected in Riduck, the Ramp Test will appear in the list when viewing the "Power Profile", or the n-minute power will be displayed as the FTP reference, depending on the test method used.
However, the test results may not be reflected in the following cases:
If maximum effort (All-Effort) was not exerted during the test, regardless of the test method.
If the FTP derived from the test is lower than the FTP calculated from previous tests or recent riding activity data.
If there has been a decrease in capacity compared to previous tests.
If there were errors during the test process.
