Persistent Overtraining Message
If Riduck continues to indicate overtraining, please check the following factors:
FTP Too Low for Current Skill Level If your FTP is set too low compared to your actual ability, even low-intensity riding will result in a high TSS. To ensure accurate data, perform an FTP test to properly adjust your metrics.
If you primarily enjoy long-distance activities like randonneuring or touring, which rarely involve high-intensity riding, it’s important to periodically reassess your FTP.
Commuting by Bicycle Bicycle commuting can lead to a higher TSS, even if the intensity is low, due to the increased "activity level" from daily commuting. In this case, adjust your weekly TSS to an appropriate level using the training volume adjustment feature.
Inaccurate Power Data Discrepancies can arise if you're using multiple power meters or a smart trainer, leading to inconsistent measurements. We recommend using a single, reliable power source and performing zero offset (calibration) regularly. If you're using multiple devices, check the power match section to verify discrepancies and ensure accurate readings.
