In the Lab, you can try out upcoming features before they are officially released.
The Lab may transition to official service or be discontinued without prior notice, and it does not guarantee the smooth operation or accuracy of the features.
To utilize the features in the Lab, it's essential to accurately input your personal body and equipment information for precise simulation.
You can pre-calculate how to ride a specific segment (course) based on the rider's body, capabilities, and equipment information.
Enter the distance, elevation gain, average altitude, and temperature of the course you want to simulate.
Press the "Search Strava Segment" button to automatically retrieve specific segment information such as distance, elevation gain, and average altitude registered on Strava. (excluding temperature)
Choose one of the following three types for the simulation:
Power Calculation: Calculate how many watts you need to maintain and ride the course at a specific average speed.
Speed Calculation: Calculate the time required to ride the course at a specific power output.
Estimated PR: Calculate the expected record based on your current FTP and the power curve generated from riding data.
Depending on the selected type, proceed with the simulation as follows:
Enter the desired average speed for riding in the "Average Speed" field.
Click on the "View Results" button below.
